Pillow Talk
Made specifically for social media, each episode of Pillow Talk runs an average length of only 60 seconds, and depicts the drama that arises from nothing more than a single conversation in bed. While the series follows the same couple in the same bed, each episode is a stand-alone installment that can be watched, liked and shared on its own.
With each episode just a few lines of dialogue, the show is designed with a minimalist aesthetic inspired by the brevity and simplicity of 4-cell comic strips. The visual style calls out to comic strips in its monochromatic use of color, minimalist setting and wardrobe, and perpendicular camera perspective. The goal is to focus on the dialogue in a limbo-state, where the characters and their environment become universal archetypes.
